From the city of Tuscany comes high-quality brand Buttero. Since the brand was founded in 1974 by Mauro Sani, Buttero has been known to make the best riding boots in the world. The definition of Buttero is a Tuscan Cowboy, which is something that lies within the soul of the brand. Today the brand is still owned by the Sani family in Tuscany, keeping to its historic roots and continuing to craft premium quality footwear from the best vegetable-tanned leathers. Buttero was named after Tuscany’s ‘old-time’ cowboys, whose first ambition was to create the world’s best riding boots. Soon after they succeeded, Buttero became renowned for its superior riding boots worldwide by following traditional Italian shoe-making methods. The Buttero shoes are handmade by craftsmen in Stabia, who continue to use honest and local ingredients to complement the heritage of the brand.

The designs are flawlessly crafted thanks to the Italian’s eye for sophistication, style, and form. The result is an elegant piece of footwear made to perfection. Previous collections from Buttero have proved to be popular with their styles such as the slip-on chukka boot which offered a wearable rubber sole and a calf hair upper. In 2012 the brand brought out classic Desert boots, with the twist of the colourful crepe sole. Other styles Buttero has crafted are the combined sneaker-chukka boots, Derby shoes, and even hiking boots.

This season we will be stocking the classic Tanino Buttero sneakers in a range of colours. The low leather silhouette offers full handcrafted leather uppers with metal eyelets and a durable rubber sole. The colour-ways available in this style will be Bianco, Smog, Burgundy, and Nero.
