Sanders Shoes and Sanders Boots
Sanders established in 1873 in Northamptonshire, a vision from two brothers wanting to set up a successful shoemaking business. When WWI struck it revolutionised their business with the factory producing 6000 pairs of Sanders boots for the army, even after the war ended the demand for Sanders shoes hadn't. Sadly tragedy struck the company in 1924, with a fire that ripped through the factory consuming everything. This disaster turned out to be a blessing in disguise with the factory being rebuilt full of modern equipment. Today Sanders & Sanders Ltd remains on the same road as it has done for the past century, and is known throughout the world as the very best in English elegance, and exports to over thirty countries across five continents.
