Cruyff

Cruyff Footwear was first born in 1979, when Johan Cruyff decided to develop his own functional and stylish sports brand.  Johan envisioned elegant sportswear for the technical player.  His philosophy was the following: developing not only a functional but also a stylish brand.  Good examples of the Cruyff philosophy are Van Basten, who was once compared to a ballerina, and Bergkamp, a true virtuoso who played perfect technical football.  Emilio Lazzarini - a famous Italian designer and close friend of Cruyff helped the football legend launch the development.  Cruyff trainers quickly became a well-liked brand on the sports fields, worn by many well-known players.  From the start of the eighties Cruyff managed to conquer a large share of the Dutch market with his collections.  During the 1988 Olympics in Seoul the Dutch Oylmpic team proudly wore Cryuff clothing.  Football stars such as Vanenburg, Petterson, Jordi, Winter and Bosman played their best matches on shoes bearing the Cruyff signature and the C-Flash.  Cruyff trainers are new to Aphrodite Clothing for Winter 2009 and we are proud to stock some of the many famous designs.
