Edwin Jeans was founded in Japan in 1947. K.K. Tsunemi had a passion for Jeans and Denim. To get them he needed to import them. Dirty, worn out and used jeans that he had to mend and clean by hand to sell them to his customers. In 1951 the first Edwin Jeans were available made of stiff, expensive and easily shrunk denim! Tsunemi was driven to make better jeans and took the chance to start his own brand. Today, Edwin Jeans are proud to follow Tsunemi's ideas and priorities when it comes to the highest quality of denim fabrics, finishing skill, sewing techniques and fitting patterns. There is a reason why they were the first jeans brand to develop the old wash in 1970, stone wash in the 1980s and still continue to test without end to find the unique fit! Aphrodite is one of the only stockists of Edwin Jeans in the North East of England and carry these designer jeans in a variety of styles, denims and fits.
