adidas Kamanda 'Clear Brown'

Kamanda Conquer: adidas Kamanda ‘Clear Brown’

After a stellar rollout of colourways in the form of the samba-tinged black and maroon double bill, as well as the announcement of collaborations with CP Company amongst others, we’ve finally arrived at a core colourway of the Kamanda in the form of this clear brown offering.

The swooping minimalist silhouette is the epitome of casual cool in more ways than one. Not only is the design a refreshingly new foray for the brand, it’s asymmetrical gum sole and conspicuous tongue to heel tab features are a welcome new foray for the brand in a feature shoe.

With its knit tie tongue with fold over capabilities the aesthetic instantly evokes the feeling of the classic Sambas of the 80s, a core influence for the terrace inspired model. The heel tab of the Kamanda sweeps up, holding an elongated quality that also supports the Achilles.

The footbed incorporates an unusually fuzzy suede across its midsole for a luxury finish. The general materialisation to the shoe is as premium as they come with its super soft finish to the upper.  The final touch to this adventurous design is the gold-stamped logo to the rear of the shoe with classic adidas trefoil branding and bold KAMANDA print. The branding can also be located on the sole.

This tantalising terrace design is sure to keep the appetite for original adidas going and is a worthy successor to the initial Kamanda releases.
