adidas TRX Vintage Trainer – History Re-imagined
Adidas TRX Vintage Trainer Re-vamped For Another Season of Iconic Style
Prolific in the industry for combining heritage appeal with a strong terrace influence, Adidas boasts the title of forward-thinking and undisputed cultural icons. Continuously evolving and challenging their ever iconic silhouettes, their three stripe motif is celebrated season on season as a guarantee for skill and style. Hosting one of the most famous shoe collections on the market, there is no wonder they follow a design process influenced by their alumni of history making styles.
Their latest archival revival sees the iconic TRX Marathon Runner from the 70’s re-imagined to a more modern and playful interpretation. Once donned as the perfect lightweight and durable running companions, the shoe effortlessly garnered a reputation amongst the athletic and street style world. Designed for life’s marathon, the 2021 TRX Vintage Trainer sees the silhouette in a bolder and louder version of itself.
Dressed proudly in a bold colour way of reds, yellows and blues, the TRX sees hints of metallic accents running through, providing a modern touch to the retro image. A repetitive vintage style trefoil logo sits on the tongue, giving you a visual certification of celebrated craftsmanship. A streamlined EVA midsole accompanied by a studded rubber sole allows for comfort in each step, whilst a traditional lace up closure and cushioned uppers provide secure hold.
In a bid to reduce plastic waste, the shoe follows a recycled construction, with a minimum of 50% of the leather uppers boasting a re-used status.
The TRX Runner releases arrives hot on the heels of the new styles of adidas SL72 that we wrote about last week.
