Initially designed by Yue Wu the ‘Refined Future’ or as it’s more commonly known as, the ‘Protection Pack’ delivers a unique rugged aesthetic that we’ve all grown to love. Debuting back in 2021 the now signature aesthetic divided sneakerheads with its bold deconstructed visuals. Currently though, the collection is touted as one of the biggest must-haves in any footwear rotation and has been dubbed the trainer of the year by millions of loyal New Balance followers on social media.

The latest colourway to adorn the fan-favourite is a clean Slate Grey. The neutral tone engulfs the soft suede panels as they combine with a breathable mesh toe-box to produce a stunning, functional upper. As always various New Balance motifs decorate the model including ‘2002R’ and ‘NB’ lettering, while the brands iconic N logo is placed on each shoe. 3M reflective detailing provides visibility in low light conditions and the rugged aesthetic continues across the tongue, side panelling and toe-box.
