New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Drops In Slate Grey

What is the New Balance Protection Pack

Initially designed by Yue Wu the ‘Refined Future’ or as it’s more commonly known as, the ‘Protection Pack’ delivers a unique rugged aesthetic that we’ve all grown to love. Debuting back in 2021 the now signature aesthetic divided sneakerheads with its bold deconstructed visuals. Currently though, the collection is touted as one of the biggest must-haves in any footwear rotation and has been dubbed the trainer of the year by millions of loyal New Balance followers on social media.

The latest colourway to adorn the fan-favourite is a clean Slate Grey. The neutral tone engulfs the soft suede panels as they combine with a breathable mesh toe-box to produce a stunning, functional upper. As always various New Balance motifs decorate the model including ‘2002R’ and ‘NB’ lettering, while the brands iconic N logo is placed on each shoe. 3M reflective detailing provides visibility in low light conditions and the rugged aesthetic continues across the tongue, side panelling and toe-box.

New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Drops In Black And Navy

New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Trainers are some of the most sought after on the market, and while you may be kicking yourself for missing previous drops, you can rejoice in your chance to claim our latest arrivals.

Introducing the New Balance 2002R Protection Pack in both Navy and Black colourways…

They arrive as distressed as ever, with the deconstructed suede upper engulfing the breathable mesh base of the trainers. 3M reflective detailing also makes an appearance offering a bit of functionality to the contemporary style. The New Balance 2002R ‘Protection Pack’ is back… and we’ve got two stunning new colourways heading your way.

New Balance have been killing the footwear game this year, the brand are truly on top of the world when it comes to trainer releases and a prime example of that is the 2002R Protection Pack. Selling out the second it hits the shelves at… well literally anywhere, the Protection Pack offers the 2002R silhouette with a rugged and distressed aesthetic, one that you lot clearly can’t get enough of.

Previously dropping in more understated colourways such as ‘Raincloud’ or ‘Grey Mirage’, the 2002R hasn’t really been seen to rock colour, that is until now. Launching at 3PM on the 26/10/22 at Aphrodite, the 2002R Protection Pack is dropping in vivid colourways of ‘Light Artic Grey’ and ‘Lilac Chalk’.

As always these kicks offer a super breathable mesh toe-box that’s intruded upon by rip-like multi-tonal suede overlays. To the shoes side panelling, ‘N’ branding is stitched alongside a more discreet 2002R motif. Underfoot the use of N-Ergy technology and the brands stability web combine to offer incredible comfort cushioning and support. A combination of on-trend styling and timeless comfort, it really doesn’t get better than this.

New Balance 2002R ‘Nightwatch Green’ Lands at Aphrodite Clothing

A stunning colourway from the ‘Higher Learning Pack’.

Following on from the huge success of the recent ‘Higher Learning’ New Balance Protection Pack, the New Balance 2002R is quickly solidifying itself as the greatest silhouette of 2022 and is set to drop in a ‘Nightwatch Green’ colourway at Aphrodite Clothing.

Sporting the same wavy side panelling and reflective ‘N’ branding, the trainer is dressed in a vibrant green colour that’s guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd. The upper of the trainer utilises a supple suede that encapsulates a breathable mesh toe-box, creating a vintage look and offering a ‘Dad trainer’ aesthetic. White lacing secures the shoe while to the cream sole, NERGY and ABZORB technology guarantee comfort with support being offered through the brands Stability Web technology. The trainer is finished off with a black outsole and various pieces of New Balance branding.
