The New Balance 920 is one of the Boston based brands more recent silhouettes. Initially released back in 2020 the trainer follows the archival traits of the 990 and 1000 series, offering a classic and contemporary fusion.
Constructed in New Balance’s notorious Flimby factory, the model joins a long list of quality Made in England silhouettes. An array of premium materials are used in the making of the upper, where a breathable grey mesh fabric offers as a base for crisp white pigskin leather overlays. Branded embroidery is carefully stitched into the shoe by skilled workers, while the brands iconic ‘N’ logo appears on the shoes side panelling in a 3M reflective material.
Underfoot, a 990V3 sole unit offers the incredible cushioning that New Balance is known for while an ENCAP midsole combines lightweight foam with a durable polyurethane rim to deliver all day support. With this pair, undeniable comfort is key.
To celebrate 40 years of footwear production in their Flimby factory, New Balance have printed 40th anniversary graphics to the 920’s insole, and shipped them in a unique, celebratory box. Cop your pair on the 28th of July at Aphrodite.
