adidas Overdub – New Name, OG Style
adidas Overdub
‘Blue / White’ & ‘White / Green’
FV9682 & FV9683
Originally released way back in 1959 apart from its newly bestowed name not much has changed for the adidas Overdub. Formerly known as the Rekord, the trainers burst onto the scene in the name of performance boasting sleek proportions and a lightweight construction that quickly captured the hearts of both athletes and casual folk alike.
Re-releasing in both its debut OG blue and white colourway as well as a very pleasing mixture of vintage-inspired white and green, the adidas Overdub boasts a number of subtle features that make it a seamless addition to the three stripe arsenal even by today’s standards. Constructed from a smooth leather, typical of training shoes of the time, they come equipped with serrated three stripe branding to each side alongside a trefoil printed to the heel.
Bearing a remarkable resemblance to closely related silhouettes such as the Perfekt and Japan, the adidas Overdub equips a suede t-toe overlay to the toebox that not only oozes with heritage charm but adds extra structural support and longevity.
