Y-3 Drops Two Fresh Iterations of the Gazelle Silhouette
Adidas and Y-3 is a partnership we have all gotten used to. The pair link up on a number of new silhouettes each season with their unique Japanese design and German sensibilities always seeming to hit the right spot. The latest arrival from the two is an updated take on the Gazelle silhouette.
Offering an almost entirely suede makeup, the trainer arrives with Adidas branding in the form of three stripes, as well as Yohji yamamoto lettering to the models side panelling. Eyelet covers hide most of the lacing system offering a futuristic look, while a wavy mudguard furthers the styles dynamic visuals. To the rear of the trainers a leather heel patch provides a contrast to the luxuriously soft suede and is attached via over exposed stitching. Externally, excess threads can be seen resting against the shoe as they are integrated into the design to re-inforce Y3’s uniqueness.
Available now and retailing at £250, you can get in on this Y3 goodness by shopping in-store or online at Aphrodite.
