Focusing in on weather protection, this latest batch of new arrivals fuse both their heritage sportswear influence with Yohji Yamomoto’s quintessential avant garde direction.

 

 

Spanning a number of casual essentials such as hoodies, joggers and t-shirts, Y-3 opt to keep their designs simple, using their ability to fashion unique silhouettes and playful spins on classic branding to add extra character and depth to each piece. ushering in soft pastel shades such as, ‘hope lilac’ to soften up their usual monochromatic output, this debut assembly of their expansive offering features tonal logos, comfortable French Terry fabrics and obscured three stripe branding, making it perfect for those who prefer an air of sophisticated subtlety about their clothing.

 

 

In terms of stand out pieces, we couldn’t not mention Y-3’s take on the classic windbreaker jacket. Crafting the garment from a rather unexpected refined wool blend, the protective piece comes presented in a muted sand colourway. Boasting a large tonal logo to the back for a lowkey hit of branded recognition, the garment features a two-way zip fastening, welted side pockets as well as both adjustable drawstrings to the hem and hood.
