The leather also goes through a series of tests to ensure strength and durability of the material for a robust, tough finished outer. Danner also reframes from lining the leather for a cooler wear in warmer temperatures, a lighter feel and giving the material the ability to mould perfectly to your foot.

The design also incorporates an Ortholite footbed for superior shock absorption and comfort, that can be removed if desired. It has been made by combining 3 layers of varying density open-cell Polyurethane for maximum cushioning and support. The use of this material also benefits the wearer with better heat dissipation and air circulation.
Moving down to the sole, the Danner Wedge outsole has been designed to provide lightweight support, cushioning and traction, mix that with the hand crafted stitchdown construction offering support and stability, these are an all-round well-rounded boot and finished with tonal branding and iconic moc toe silhouette.
