Stone Island Garment Dyed Crinkle Reps NY Jacket in Pink. This Stone Island jacket is crafted using a lightweight nylon rep with an ultra-tight weave, this piece offers both wind and water-resistant properties. This is then enhanced by a resin coating to the inner face of the fabric that boosts the elemental protection that the jacket offers. An internal mesh lining adds a healthy dose of breathability into the mix before the jacket is garment dyed. In the dyeing process, colour cannot penetrate evenly as a result of the resin coating, giving a more varied and tonal depth of finish that provides the signature 'Crinkle' effect. Functional hardware is then fitted to complete the piece, with a two-way zipper, two zipped pockets, an elasticated hemline and cuff and a funnel neck all making an appearance. Of course, a detachable compass logo is also added to the left sleeve.
