Engineered in Italy by Stone Island's ever-technical sub-division, this innovative jacket serves as a core piece of the final Shadow Project collection. It's crafted using a blend of twisted cotton in the warp and nylon ripstop in the weave. The inclusion of a polyamide grid in the fabric serves to introduce durability to the garment as its strength and abrasion resistance is improved, all while retaining the lightweight and soft-to-the-touch qualities of cotton. The fabric is then garment dyed in the brand's Italian factory in order to achieve a rich and intense black tone across the piece, before being treated with a PFC-Free Anti-Drop agent to improve the water-resistance of the jacket. Stone Island then inject functionality into the piece through the implementation of an array of metal hardware. A central two-way Ykk zipper allows for styling versatility, while pull-cords and press studs to the hood, cuff and hemline allow for a more personalised fit. Two external button down pockets combine with two internal zipped pockets for ample on-the-go storage and internal shoulder straps allow you to throw the jacket back at a moment's notice, if the weather takes a turn for the better.
