Thanks to this innovative payment solution you can now spread out the cost of purchases placed online at Aphrodite. Granting wider access to your favourite designer brands and collections, Klarna ensures that you'll never miss a highly anticipated launch again while simultaneously keeping tabs on your budget.

Essentially letting customers try before they officially commit to buying, Klarna provides two smooth, simple checkout options, each of which delays your payment to a future date. Please see these options explained below:

Pay later with Klarna

If pay day feels like a distant memory and you need to retain cash for other necessities this month, Klarna’s pay later option can help to bridge the gap until the next. If you’ve had your eye on one of our new arrivals and would like to secure your size while it’s available, simply navigate to the checkout and select pay later with Klarna. When your pay later request is accepted, Klarna will immediately follow up with payment instructions via email – you can also download their easy to use app to keep track of your purchase. All orders placed under Klarna’s pay later scheme must be paid within 30 days of the item/items being dispatched, unless returned to Aphrodite for the purpose of a refund [within the company timescale] in which case your order will be updated.

 

Pay in 3 instalments with Klarna

With Klarna’s instalment scheme, all items are paid off over the course of 3 months, this is particularly helpful when you’re opting to purchase investment pieces. For instance, that versatile winter jacket that’s imperative for the upcoming season – simply splice the total into 3 equal payments and avoid breaking the bank. At the time of purchasing, your 1st payment will be deducted from the credit or debit card provided, with 2 further instalments cleared over the next 2 months. If purchased items are unsuitable and returned to Aphrodite [within the company timescale], your payment/payments will be refunded to your original payment method and your order updated accordingly.

 

No added fees & no interest with both options – just simply clear your balance within the chosen timescale.

*Klarna may perform a soft credit search for Pay later or Pay in 3 instalments. This is not a full credit check and it will not affect your credit rating – it is only visible to both you and Klarna.*

Who is Klarna?

How does Pay later in 30 days work?

When you select Klarna's 'Pay Later' option at the checkout, you can expect your order to be confirmed via email, then separate payment instructions will be forwarded to you within two days by Klarna. From the order date, you will have 30 days to try on the garments and decide whether you wish to keep them, if you do decide to keep the item/items, you will pay for the clothing 30 days after you originally submitted the order. Klarna accepts both credit or debit cards and the final payment can be processed in the Klarna app or by logging into www.klarna.com/uk.

Am I eligible for Pay later in 30 days?
To take advantage of Klarna's 'Pay Later' option you must be at least 18 years old. Eligibility is also dependent on your individual financial circumstances, however, Klarna's purchase assessment will not affect your credit rating.

How can I increase my chances of being accepted for Pay later in 30 days?

There are many factors that could either increase or decrease your chances of being accepted for Klarna's 'Pay Later' option - age, order value, item availability and your individual Klarna purchase history are all considered factors during the payment process. Please ensure to provide your full name and check that your shipping address correlates with your registered billing address. Pay Later is assessed on an individual basis, if you are denied this option at the checkout once, it does not mean that you will always be denied in the future, and vice versa with being accepted. 

Will a credit search take place against me?

To determine your eligibility Klarna may conduct unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) - please note, these will not affect your credit score and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor Aphrodite will run credit searches against you that could negatively impact your credit rating.

Why have I not been offered Pay later in 30 days?
The Pay Later in 30 days service is a popular option among consumers, however, it is not always universally accepted or available. Automated algorithms consider numerous factors, such as the price of the item, the customer's previous order history and stock levels. If Klarna's Pay Later option is not available to you, you are still welcome to pay by debit or credit card at the checkout. 

What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will always prompt or remind you to pay for your item/items via email, via the Klarna app, via text or, in some cases, by letter. 30 days after your order is shipped - payment is due. Your individual credit score will not be affected by Klarna's 'Pay Later' service, even if the payment has not been paid on time.

What information do I need to provide when I make a safe purchase using Klarna?

To purchase securely with Klarna you will need to provide your name, address, email address, mobile number and date of birth. It's imperative that all your details are inputted correctly, otherwise, the order process may fail at the final stage if your individual details don't correlate.

Klarna securely processes your payment information. Aphrodite does not receive or hold your card details. Each transaction takes place via connections secured with the latest industry-standard security protocols.

Can I pay before the due date?

If you wish to pay for your order early, this can be done at any time within the 30 day period. Simply locate the original Klarna order email or head to the official Klarna app and follow the instructions to clear your order.


Have you received my payment?

If your paying by card, Aphrodite will confirm your order right away. If choosing to pay via 'Pay Later' in 30 days, Klarna will forward you a payment confirmation to the email address that you have provided at the time of order. If you have made a payment but not yet received the confirmation of this, you can continue to monitor your order and payments by logging into the official Klarna app or www.klarna.com/uk.

How does the return process work?

Once Aphrodite receives your return (whether partial or full) we will begin to process the refund and a confirmation email will be sent directly to you. Klarna will then update your order statement, if you have returned the order in full, the entire statement will be cleared by Klarna. Your individual order status can always be tracked/monitored from within the Klarna app.


What happens if I cancel or return my order?
Once Aphrodite has accepted your order cancellation or return, Klarna will then receive notification of this and cancel the statement or refund your payment as appropriate. This will be reflected immediately within the Klarna app.

I've cancelled my order. How long will it take until I receive a refund?
As soon as we process your cancellation or return, the refund will be processed and funds will be returned within 5 business days.

I've requested a refund. How will I be refunded?

If you have already paid your Klarna statement but then decide to send the item/items back for a refund at a later date, the return will be processed and the funds will be returned via your original payment method. If you are yet to pay the statement, the processed refund will either reduce the statement or cancel it completely - depending on the price/amount of items you send back.
