Stone Island Garment Dyed Crinkle Reps R-NY Down Parka in Black. Exemplary of Stone Island's efforts towards sustainability, this Parka has been constructed using an ultra-tight weave 100% recycled nylon rep. It undergoes garment dyeing in order to achieve a rich black shade, before being resin treated to offer mild wind and water resistance, with a by-product of the process being the crinkle effect, offered through the uneven penetration of light onto the jacket's exterior.

The finished shell then undergoes a direct down injection, to fill individual down bags with a premium, warming duck down and feather blend. This ensures an even distribution that maximises heat retention and comfort while wearing the piece and strictly adheres to the responsible down standards (RDS) furthering the Italian brand's new eco-friendly approach.  

In terms of functionality, the down parka has an array of features added, from a central two-way YKK zipper, with a velcro-closure storm flap for added protection, to an elasticated wrist and adjustable drawstrings in the hood, all of which further the garment's elemental protection. Storage is offered up in the form of two asymmetric pockets that flank the chest, one buttoned down and zipped, and the other just zipped, and if that isn't enough space to carry your belongings a nifty button-down pocket is added internally too. 

To complete the look this Stone Island Jacket boasts the brand's instantly recognisable detachable compass patch on the left arm.
