adidas Gazelle OG Pre-Order Available

adidas Gazelle OG A legend in its own right, the adidas Gazelle has been reworked many times over since its inception in 1966, returning to the shelves in many different guises. A versatile shoe, found everywhere from football stadiums around the world to skate parks and concerts, the Gazelle has firmly stamped its position near the head of the mens footwear market.

The 2015 Spring Summer collection sees the return of the terrace favourite in a unique grey colourway with perforation holes revealing a hidden green layer underneath. The synthetic suede upper and quarter is contrasted by the cold cement rubber outsole and three-stripes adorning the side panel.

Priced at £67.00 the adidas Gazelle OG is now available to pre-order for delivery around mid-late February 2015

Widely seen as one of the most successful new silhouettes of 2014, the adidas Originals Tubular Runner gets re-worked for this interpretation from the ‘New Years Eve’ pack now officially released. Taking a very similar design to that of the original Tubular Runner, this new release gets a splash of celebratory gold to the heel cage and lace tab to give the shoe its own distinctive identity.

The soft neoprene upper and lightweight sole combine to ensure a comfortable ride. The tyre inspired outsole and dual density EVA midsole unit works to evenly distribute your weight to aide the comfort experienced.

adidas Spezial Spring Summer 2015 Pre-Order

A firm favourite on the terrace scene, the adidas Originals Spezial is always a sought after style of trainers season upon season. First released back in 1979, the Spezial was created initially as an indoor handball shoe. It has since developed a huge following with fans of the adidas Originals brand and has been re-issued in various different guises.

Returning this forthcoming Spring Summer season, we are taking delivery of two new styles. Both feature full suede uppers as standard with synthetic 3-stripes. The olive coloured Spezial boasts a contrasting white rubber sole and has been created in a new seasonal colourway. Alternatively if you prefer something a little more vibrant, there is the purple / yellow colourway which features the iconic translucent gum outsole.

Both are priced at £60 and available to pre-order for delivery in late December / early January 2015

adidas Originals Hamburgs return for Spring/Summer 2015

Here at Aphrodite we’re proud to announce that we are awaiting the forthcoming arrival of adidas Originals Hamburg trainers in two colourways; Core Black / Collegiate Orange and Collegiate Gold / Core Black. This combination of colours is sure to turn heads and dominate the streets when they start shipping for the Spring / Summer season.

The silhouette of the Hamburg was originally released in the 80’s, and became an adored part of the Terrace movement. From then the Hamburg style has been known as a classic piece of mens’ footwear which is making an anticipated return for adidas lovers.

This November adidas Originals are bringing back the popular ‘Brussels’ and ‘Kopenhagen’ colourways which incorporate vintage suede uppers with matte leather overlays. Also featuring the instantly recognisable Gum sole unit and certified Hamburg branding in gold foil lettering, making it clear that this trainer has earned its iconic status on the shelves and its here to stay.

The eagerly anticipated release of the much hyped Saucony Shadow 6000 ‘Running Man’ pack is almost upon us. Launching on 15 September 2014, this 4 style pack is bursting with style and technology as you would expect from a brand with as much history in crafting running shoes as Saucony has.

Harbouring the Iconic Cushioning System, the Shadow 6000 is built for comfort, absorbing each strike of the heel with superior cushioning. Sitting upon a CMEVA and PU midsole, the shoe features an XT600 rubber outsole for improved grip. Incorporating mesh panelling and premium suede overlays, Saucony hit the mark with the detailing of the shoe. The ‘S’ logo to the side panel is crafted from leather, embroidered branding is found on the heel whilst the Running Man logo is featured on the tongue.

New Balance M1500 Available To Pre-Order

The New Balance M1500 is a legendary style amongst New Balance and sneaker connoisseur’s and the good news for fans of the shoe is that we are getting two new colourways in a September drop. New Balance have spared no expense with this particular version, offering up premium suede and leather panelling accenting the nylon upper. Sitting on comfortable Encap sole unit, the experience is only enhanced with the inclusion of a padded ankle cuff. To add to the desirability of the shoe, they have came straight out of the Flimby factory in Cumbria allowing New Balance to embroider the ‘Made in England’ wording on the tongue.

The two colourways include an Autumnal looking green, red and grey version (M1500RBO) as well as a more vibrant orange, navy and grey model (M1500RGR). The contrasting white sole with highlights and branding really works well to set the shoe off.

New Balance M670 ‘Made in England’ Pre-Order

Making their way directly from the Flimby factory in Cumbria, New Balance present two new incarnations of their popular M670 sneakers.These bold colourways have an almost Autumnal feel to them and each version uses an inverse colour pallete to the other. So where one shoe has an Orange base and Black ‘N’ logo, the other has a Black base and Orange ‘N’ logo.

Sitting upon a C-Cap compression molded EVA midsole and encased in a cushioned ankle cuff, you can guarantee that the shoe will provide superior cushioning on the move whilst the heel counter aides stability. The mesh upper is overlayed with pigskin suede panels for a luxurious touch. The leather ‘N’ logo and heel tab contrast nicely and finish off the design.

Adidas Originals Tobacco Autumn Winter 2014

Last seasons release of the Adidas Originals Tobacco caused quite a stir in the sneaker world. The pre-order demand was phenomenal, much like the hype that was built up around the recent Adidas Hamburg pre-orders. A terrace favourite amongst football fans in the UK, the Tobacco is a timeless silhouette that appeals to a diverse range of customers across various ages.

Luckily for fans of the Tobacco, Adidas are set to release 3 fresh interpretations of the much loved classic in July 2014. Each style is a one-to-one remake of a classic design, featuring a vintage leather upper sitting upon the iconic flat gum sole. Tonal leather three-stripes with a serrated edge accent the upper beautifully, as does the addition of the waxed laces.

Priced at £65.00, you can pre-order each style now for delivery in July.
