adidas and Pharrell’s Tennis HU Returns with a Primeknit Upgrade for SS18
A firm feature in adidas’ roster of collaborators from across the globe, musician, producer and style influencer Pharrell Williams presents his latest footwear capsule with the 3 Stripes, encompassing two contrasting styles of his minimal Tennis HU sneaker.
Based on adidas’ ever-popular Stan Smith tennis shoe, mixed with the DNA of modern running sneakers, the Tennis HU boasts engineered Primeknit uppers for a comfortable sock-like fit, coming in a choice of the ever-popular ‘Oreo’ monochrome pattern, or a multi-coloured option that echoes Williams’ personal style.
Both pairs come set atop a lightweight moulded EVA sole unit with an all-over waffle pattern, and are finished with branding labels to the tongue and heel, as well as custom HU illustrations to the sockliner.
