Yeezy Camouflage Jacket Arrives

We had a phenomenal reaction to the recently launched Yeezy Season 1 collection, and Aphrodite can proudly say that we have secured a number of Yeezy Camouflage Jackets for sale in-store and online.

Yeezy Season 1 sent the fashion world into turmoil with the collaboration between Kanye West and sportswear giants adidas, producing some of the most sought after pieces this year. Mixing sportswear with oversized fashion forward pieces to bring a new look to urban street with stripped back basics offering comfort and quality. Yeezy Season 1 included tees, sweats, joggers and trainers, all of which had a huge demand, well over the numbers produced.

The Camo jacket , like the entire collection, has been designed to be oversized for the more casual look and boasting a drawstring fasten fixed hood, this is a great piece for a causal modern look. With a full zip fasten front and press stud wind flap for added warmth and protection in the colder weather along with oversized Velcro fasten straps to the wrist, the Yeezy feel oozes out of this jacket. With a camouflage design throughout and finished with underarm zips that run down the length of the arm seams that finishes this jacket off flawlessly.

Yeezy Boost 350 Launch

Saturday November 14 saw the release of the highly anticipated Yeezy Boost 350.The Yeezy Boost 350 trainers are part of Yeezy Season One, a collaboration between adidas Originals and rapper Kanye West.

Yeezy enthusiasts began to queue outside of our Sunderland store from midnight on Thursday November 12. People had travelled from all over the region in the hope to get their hands on a pair of the trainers in the ‘moonrock’ colour-way.

The Yeezy Boost 350 trainers were only sold in our store, along with an Instagram raffle where winners were given the chance to buy a pair of the trainers which were very high demand. Following the previous release of the Yeezy Season One clothing, it was expected that the Yeezy Boost 350 would be just as popular and they sold out that morning.

Kanye West and adidas Originals unveil Yeezy Season 1

The world has been patiently waiting for the release of Kanye West and Adidas Originals exclusive collaboration, Yeezy Season 1. The collection was showcased during New York Fashion Week in February this year, and has since been the talk of the fashion world. The hype of the Yeezy Boost 350 and 750 has determined just how popular this collection will be.This October sees the release of the collaboration, which focuses on contemporary apparel.

Yeezy Season 1 has been described by Kanye West as the worlds first ‘solution based’ clothing line. All garments are suited to be worn in all different ways to achieve a range of distinctive looks, this is to defeat the daily ‘dress stress’. Kanye West aims his collection at the ‘modern jet-set couple’, stating that clothing can be worn from the gym to the office.

The menswear range creates a sense of street luxury with distressed edges and unfinished hems, injected with neutral colours of cranberry, chocolate brown, camel and blue grey. Oversized sweaters, tees and seperates compliment each other by balancing the volumes of a more billowing effect to the top and slimline contrast to the bottom. Other pieces included in the collaboration are luxe shearling jackets and the Yeezy 950 boots.

Kanye West Signs Up With Adidas

It seems that Kanye West has signed up with Adidas to work on a new range of sneakers. How deep the relationship will run is still not widely known, but surely this signals the end to his relationship with Nike and the Yeezy serious of sneakers. It was initially reported the Kanye would be signing up to work on a range of trainers that would be released under the Adidas Y-3 label with Yohji Yamamoto. This now seems to have been inaccurate with Kanye wanting to make the move to earn more money himself through royalties. He has been quoted in the past as saying that Nike wouldn’t give him royalties because he wasn’t a professional athlete; a claim that he has disputed.

Adidas must be willing to give West a percentage of the sales from his branded collaborations with them knowing that if they are as in-demand as the Nike Yeezy trainers, they will be onto a winner. We will bring you more information on this story as and when we get it.
