Store Reopening – Everything You Need To Know
It’s been a short while since we last saw you all face to face but that’s soon about to change. After almost three months of being closed due to COVID-19, we’re pleased to say that our Sunderland store will be reopening from Monday 15th of June and while we’re excited to get back to the grind and reunite with our local clientele, we must do this cautiously and with the right measures in place.
Customer service has always been at the heart of Aphrodite and the business will continue to provide the personable interaction it always has while ensuring the utmost health and safety for both our staff and customers. Preventing the spread of the virus still remains a priority and as a business, we are committed to acting responsibly in order to make everyone that visits the store feel comfortable.
With that said, we would like to run you through some of the simple steps that we’re putting in place in preparation of the store reopening:
Washing your hands regularly protects against infection, therefore, we will be providing alcohol-based hand sanitiser throughout the store for both staff and customers. We encourage all customers to use these stations every time they shop with us in-store.
In line with government guidance, social distancing markers will be displayed throughout the store and staff along with customers should remain 2 meters apart – store capacity will be monitored to make this possible.
Along with protective perspex screens at the till points, contactless payment is also available to customers. The transaction limit for contactless payments recently changed from £30 to £45.

Customers are still permitted to try on garments in store, however, extra measures will be implemented to make this process as safe as possible. All tried on clothing will be safely stored for 72 hours.
Rigorous cleaning measures will be implemented and adhered to each day.
