Adidas Gazelle Trainers Available Now

Known for their popularity to practice or compete in up until the 1970’s, and a prominent feature in fashion, the Adidas Gazelle OG silhouette is back for autumn/winter 2016. Featuring a re-release of the classic 1991 Gazelle in a bold burgundy and white colourway. The new version retains many of its original features, including the iconic three stripes and serrated edges, with the white striped detailing complemented by the contrasting rich burgundy suede upper. In keeping with tradition the Gazelle’s are finished with a lace up fastening and the leather details are accented by the addition of a tongue with ribbed detailing.

The Gazelle has remained popular since its release in 1968. Undoubtedly one of Adidas’ best selling designs of all time, the trainer has stayed true to its origins, as with many Adidas Original products only minimal changes have been made to the adornments. Adidas have proved themselves once again with their latest retro inspired re-release. The re-invented terrace trainer is a take on the original 1991 version of the Adidas Original Gazelle and is now available to pre-order in store and online.

The new Gazelle features red and blue colourways, enhancing the signature detailing that Adidas is so well known for. The vibrant colours paired with the rich pigskin nubuck upper, gives the Gazelle a high quality finish. Other key features include the traditional serrated white side panels and a rubber outsole providing comfort and durability for the wearer.

adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor Pre-Order

The iconic silhouette of the adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor returns for Autumn Winter 2015 in this sublime bluebird / white colourway. You have to go all the way back to 1968 to see the Gazelle Indoor making its debut but nearly 50 years on, the shoe is more popular than ever. Now a firm favourite on the terraces, footwear enthusiasts are eager to get their hands on the new season colourways from each collection.

This new season interpretation offers a full suede upper with a suede tongue that is accented with perforations throughout. The gold Gazelle callout adorns the side panel and is complimented by the gold adidas branding to the tongue tab.

Contrasting synthetic 3-stripes work well against the blue upper as does the plain heel tab at the reverse of the shoe. Sitting upon the much loved gum sole unit that gives the shoe its retro feel, the shoe is a must-have for Gazelle lovers.
