Known for their popularity to practice or compete in up until the 1970’s, and a prominent feature in fashion, the Adidas Gazelle OG silhouette is back for autumn/winter 2016. Featuring a re-release of the classic 1991 Gazelle in a bold burgundy and white colourway. The new version retains many of its original features, including the iconic three stripes and serrated edges, with the white striped detailing complemented by the contrasting rich burgundy suede upper. In keeping with tradition the Gazelle’s are finished with a lace up fastening and the leather details are accented by the addition of a tongue with ribbed detailing.

The Gazelle has remained popular since its release in 1968. Undoubtedly one of Adidas’ best selling designs of all time, the trainer has stayed true to its origins, as with many Adidas Original products only minimal changes have been made to the adornments. You have to go all the way back to 1968 to see the Gazelle Indoor making its debut but nearly 50 years on, the shoe is more popular than ever. This new season interpretation offers a full suede upper with a suede tongue that is accented with perforations throughout. The gold Gazelle callout adorns the side panel and is complimented by the gold adidas branding to the tongue tab.
