From the three stripes to the Trefoil logo – adidas have become a precursor in design that underlines the heavy influence that sporting style has on modern fashion. Originally designed for football, the adidas Gazelle OG was first released in 1968, coming in an OG design that featured a coloured suede upper, as well as an innovative cushioning system that made it a quick fire favourite for athletes who would use them for training. Their streamlined construction and high quality finishes pushed the gazelle into the limelight- something they embraced as they flew the iconic three stripe logo down their side, along with a gold printed gazelle label.
