The cold snap is certainly setting in across the UK over the last few days and weeks so for this weeks Style Sessions, we feature a specialist in functional outerwear.

Yes we are talking about Barbour and featuring a stunning motorcycle jacket as the main piece of this outfit.  The Barbour Duke, available in both Sage and Black is a gorgeous 6oz Thornproof waxed cotton jacket from the Barbour International collection, renowned for their motorcycle inspired clothing. A functional piece of outerwear, the Duke features a multitude of pockets and corduroy lining in the cuffs and neck lining for a functional, stylish and comfortable experience. Lined internally with the classic Barbour check, the Duke is a piece that has been around before and is back by popular demand.

The classic Barbour check is utilised once more on the stylish lambswool scarf tucked around our models neck. As we stated earlier, with the temperature dipping in the UK it is always useful to be prepared and have a scarf at the ready for a day when you might be exposed to the cold weather for a while.

A pair of Nudie Jeans Grim Tim jeans made from 12oz pure indigo Turkish denim have been added to the outfit to compliment the dark colour of the jacket. These dark jeans have been given slightly dirty looking abrasions to add a feature to the denim and it works really well with the hues used in this outfit. They feature the usual orange stitching, Nudie leather tab, classic five pocket design and copper rivets. Priced at £115.00 you will be hard pushed to find a slim fitting pair of jeans of comparable quality.

Finishing off the outfit is a pair of H By Hudson Hemming boots in black. British brands are doing so well in the fashion industry at the moment and H by Hudson are testament to that. Following the usual brogue styling of punch holes through out the upper, these classic lace up boots feature a mixture of grain and smooth leather.  The sturdy sole should see you through a range of seasons without any trouble which is what we were looking for when styling the entire outfit.
