The fashion world is no stranger to unusual partnerships, take for example this year’s collaboration between Vetements and DHL when the worlds of package delivery and logistics collided with high-fashion and alternative styling. Well it turns out adidas wanted to see what all the fuss was about and try their hand at a left field collaboration of their own teaming up with Transport For London in October to release three tube inspired, ‘Oyster Club’ trainers complete with leather card holder and 80 quids worth of travel credit.

But don’t worry if you missed out because this commute isn’t over just yet, as the pair gear up to release the next wave of trainers paying homage to the underground network transporting London workers, students and party-goers alike where they need to be. So unfold that paper, put in those earphones, sit back and relax.

Branded as the, ‘London Underground Pack’ the next stage of the collab sees the iconic Continental 80 silhouette re-imagined in six distinct styles. With the addition of classic tube emblems to the heel and a clean gum outer sole each pair represents two key London tube lines, sporting their respective colours across hues of grey, black, white and beige. The familiar retro-inspired continental goodness is also coming along for the journey with a crisp white split rubber mid-sole, lightweight EVA inserts and low-top leather construction guaranteed to have you travelling both in style and comfort whether above or below the streets.
