World renowned Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto has now been working strongly with Adidas for over 10 creative years. Even the brand’s logo shows their sturdy union; with the “Y” standing for Yohji and the “3” symbolising the 3 iconic Adidas stripes and the “–“ representing their bond together.
For the Spring Summer 2014 season Yohji has yet again wowed us by creating a new exciting range of footwear, in his signature style of fashion forward trainers, but with form and function being the key elements in the design. This season at Aphrodite we have a variety of new fresh styles of Y-3 sneakers in stock.
The “Boxing” style, a firm favourite, is back again this season; with the trainer having a low sleek profile, which is inspired by the profile of a classic low boxing boot. These must have footwear blend premium materials like leather and suede beautifully. On a few select pairs in this style, the 3 stripes sides have been boldly highlighted with a metallic effect, giving these simple sneakers a luxe look.
