The Air Max 98 ‘Exotic Skin’ Is Slithering Into Your Rotation
2018 has seen a strong resurgence in the Air Max 98, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, it’s a testament to Nike’s influence and shows how they can make sneakers that stand the test of time and continue to pave the way for innovative designs. The Snakeskin pattern has been seen on the Air Max 98 several years ago when Supreme collaborated with them in 2016 and they were arguably the best from the pack. Ever since then the public has been highly anticipating something similar to their design as they were so sought after.
Nike is delivering a heavy release on this one, with a light cream Snakeskin pattern caressing its way around the mudguard, wrapping the sneaker in all its leathery glory. With a dark brown suede panelling complementing the upper and offers some depth. These will be great for the brighter days as they inject a refined neutral colour palette into your outfit. The 98 offers paramount comfort with a full-length air unit coursing through the midsole for a responsive, air walking tread. The Mini Swoosh & Air logo has been embroidered with the suede counterpart in the light Beige to give a plush contrast. Subtle accents of 3M line the heel tab and lacing system for an eye-catching finish.
The beauty of this colourway is that they have such a versatile palette, meaning that they can be donned with virtually any pant options you desire, so if you’re feeling like you want to wear some grey joggers, then throw these on. Some Edwin’s? These will go with them without any issues, you name it, they’ll suit it. We combined ours with the Stone Island Trousers.
These will be available for purchase at 08:00 am BST (12/04/18), priced at £170
